About KSC

The Korean Society of Cardiology was founded on April 10, 1957 to provide opportunities for cardiologists to improve medical knowledge and promote networking. As part of the efforts, it offers numerous cardiology conferences, symposiums and educational lectures throughout the year. Above these, KSC is making multilateral efforts to develop the field of Cardiology and guard peoples' health through publishing journal(KCJ) monthly, conducting campaigns, supporting researches and so on.

What we do

Korean Circulation Journal

Korean Circulation Journal is the official journal of the Korean Society of Cardiology, the Korean Pediatric Heart Society, the Korean Society of Interventional Cardiology, and the Korean Society of Heart Failure. Abbreviated title is 'Korean Circ J'.
Korean Circulation Journal, established in 1971, is a professional, peer-reviewed journal covering all aspects of cardiovascular diseases, including original articles of basic research and clinical findings, reviews, editorials, images in cardiovascular medicine, and letter to the editor. Korean Circulation Journal is published monthly in English and publishes scientific and state-of-the-art clinical articles aimed at improving human health in general and contributing to the treatment and prevention of cardiovascular diseases in particular.
** The journal is published on the official website (http://www.e-kcj.org). It is indexed in PubMed, PubMed Central, Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE, Web of Science), Scopus, EMBASE, Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS), Google Scholar, KoreaMed, KoreaMed Synapse and KoMCI, and easily available to wide international audiences.

Protecting Our Heart
The KSC operates a website to help general public to better understand cardiology and heart-related diseases. This website presents all contents related to heart, from the basic functions of heart to the ways to prevent heart diseases.
The Korean Cardiac Research Foundation

The Korean Cardiac Research Foundation aims to improve human health and contribute to development of cardiology by supporting cardiology related scientific programs and research.
